This is part of an effort to make our communications more transparent, more specific, and more insightful for all of you who help to make Star Citizen and Squadron 42 possible.\n\nWe\u2019re happy to share with you the first handful of features and content slated to arrive with Alpha 4.1. Keep in mind that we plan on additional cards\/tasks being added in the coming weeks as some ongoing discussions wrap up. To be more specific, locations\/environment require the input of all other teams and what they are aiming to achieve, so they tend to be some of the last to fall into place in planning. Character tasks will also be added following locations, as the character priorities are dependent on the locations included in a patch.\n\nWith that said, let\u2019s go ahead and dive into this week\u2019s Roadmap Roundup!\n\n-CIG Community Team\n\nNotable Changes for February 21st, 2020\nNew Targeting Methodology\nThis card has moved to Alpha 4.0 column on the PU Roadmap in order to align with the Ship HUD Rework, as the included Building Blocks UI will be greatly beneficial for this feature.\n\nHigh Speed Combat\nThis card has moved to Alpha 4.0 column on the PU Roadmap in order to align with the Ship HUD Rework, as the included Building Blocks UI will be greatly beneficial for this feature.\n\nThe Alpha 4.1.0 column has been added to the PU Roadmap, including the following cards:\nObject Push and Pull | This mechanic allows players to grab a larger object and move it around an environment by either pushing or pulling it.\nImproved Throw | Improving grenade throwing to make it more accurate and reliable, as well as expanding the throwing mechanic to accommodate other objects in the world.\n\nMissile Operator Mode | Missiles will now be controlled under a dedicated missile operator mode, which gives players the option to select and fire specific missiles while operating in ships, such as the Vanguard, which allow for different types of missiles and torpedoes.\n\nShip AI: Hazard Awareness and Avoidance | Improving the AI Avoidance system to identify hazardous entities such as heavily guarded zones, etc. and steer clear of peril accordingly.\n\nFPS: Combat Improvements and Polishing | This polishing pass contains final work on behaviors and balancing, as well as bug fixing.
