Returns
Defend Against the Assault on Stanton!
The next Dynamic Event in the 'verse, XenoThreat, is about to kick off in Star Citizen Alpha 3.16.1. Outlaw group XenoThreat has launched a campaign of violence in the Stanton system, and the Navy has requested civilian support to help combat the scourge. This is a server-wide event where anyone can join in and help fight back against the XenoThreat incursion.

Read on for more details about what to expect, helpful tips and guides, and be sure to gear up for the impending attack.

You can find the mission briefing, regular updates on the event's state, and the exclusive CDF reputation rewards here.

Are you new to Star Citizen? Visit our New Player Guide first for tips on getting started, and return here after you've mastered the basics.

Who is XenoThreat?XenoThreat is a Human outlaw group based in the Pyro system known for a violently anti-alien and anti-corporate ideology. Law enforcement believes that the group is primarily formed of corrupt ex-members of the United Empire of Earth (UEE) military. Most of its criminal activity was concentrated in the Pyro system until 2949, when systems connected to Pyro, such as Stanton and Terra, began to report on raids led by members of XenoThreat.

The XenoThreat EventThe XenoThreat Dynamic Event is a server-wide event unfolding over several action-packed and engaging phases.

The Navy's Aegis Javelin destroyer, UEES War Hammer, is being restocked at INS Jericho Station. Unfortunately, XenoThreat has been intercepting and destroying supply convoys, so the Navy is requesting CDF assistance retrieving the scattered cargo and delivering it to Jericho station. As XenoThreat forces are still at large, combat support is also needed while resupplying the Navy flagship to keep attackers at bay.

As soon as War Hammer is restocked and ready for combat, you will engage XenoThreat's capital-class ships and dangerous fighter escorts in an effort to drive them out of the Stanton System.

Phase 1With XenoThreat's declaration of war, you are called upon to join the Civilian Defense Force (CDF) to eliminate this threat to the Stanton system.

The message from Special Agent Rowena Dulli, the CDF coordinator, orders you to report to the INS Jericho military station, which is located in the vicinity of microTech. All help is needed to fight back against XenoThreat, so it doesn't matter what ship you pilot or whether you go in a group or alone.

Phase 2In the next phase, you're tasked with protecting and resupplying the UEE Warhammer, a Javelin destroyer docked at Jericho Station. The supplies are available approximately 600 km away in destroyed Navy ships. Caution is advised on approach, as XenoThreat ground troops may still linger. The materials are stored in secure containers in the cargo hold and all have different properties.

You can grab the containers by hand, but a MultiTool with tractor-beam attachment is beneficial. Note, however, that XenoThreat is highly active in this area, so always watch your back or bring security. While you're off gathering supplies, the Javelin docked at the station may also be attacked by XenoThreat. It must be defended at all costs, as it cannot protect itself while the resupply is running.

Once you've got the cargo on board, travel back to Jericho Station and hand it in at one of the terminals. When all the required materials have been collected and handed in, the next phase of the event begins.

Phase 3As soon as the supplies are replenished, the UEE Warhammer will fight alongside you against XenoThreat, who have brought an Idris and several escorts. With combined firepower, you must face the waves of attack and ensure that XenoThreat are stopped.

The Resupply MaterialsDuring Phase 2 of the Dynamic Event, you will be tasked to deliver three types of materials that all possess a certain instability.

These instabilities will be triggered when the materials are obtained. When that hits zero it'll be worthless."

Zeta-Prolanide is an industrial reactant chemical that has found widespread use in neutralizing irradiated materials. Due to its volatility, it must be kept in an electrically charged state. It will lose integrity outside of containment, eventually leading to a rapid exothermic reaction. The current deterioration state is displayed on the container display.

Zeta-Prolanide degrades over time until breaking down completely (Time Sensitive).

AcryliPlex Composite"Careful with that one. Care must be taken while transporting larger quantities of the composite as it is impact and heat sensitive.

AcryliPlex Composite becomes explosively unstable if damaged (Damage Sensitive).

Diluthermex"Whatever you do, don't try and quantum travel with that on board."

Diluthermex is an extremely heat resistant epoxy often used in the mounting and repair of ship thrusters. Below you'll find a few tips & tricks, tutorials, and screenshots coming directly from your fellow citizens. Keep in mind that help is only one chat message away in-game... but be careful... not every player operates on the bright side of the law...

Community Created New Player Guide by Vici DeumHow To PlayWhile there is no right or wrong way to approach the XenoThreat Dynamic Event, we've collected a few tips that should help you go through the different phases and come out victorious. Before you begin with your travel to MIC L1, be sure to take on the "Call To Arms" mission to maximize your profits. With this mission active, the CDF will compensate you for taking down NPCs and players with a CrimeStat.

And speaking of the law, always watch your fire to avoid getting a CrimeStat yourself. You don't want to be twiddling your thumbs at the Klescher Rehabilitation Facility while your friends take down XenoThreat and reap all the rewards!

Approaching the Wreck SiteBefore entering a Starfarer wreck to search for the resupply materials you should always intiate a scan. Hit V for scanning mode and hold down the left mouse button to start scanning. This will reveal the number of containers and any enemy pirates on board! Even if you do know the number of enemies, sometimes things can go south, so make sure you bring some medical equipment and weaponry.

After clearing the wrecks, power up the generator and open the cargo bay doors. For more effortless loading, position your ship so the cargo bay door faces the cargo door of the wreck.

Cargo LoadingRemember to come prepared! You should bring a Multi-Tool with the tractor-beam attachment to move containers quickly.

It's also wise to bring some support, as XenoThreat (or other players) may try to attack while you’re busy offloading cargo.

To turn in the resupply materials, fly to Jericho Station and access any of the available trading terminals. You can keep track of the server-wide progress towards the Javelin resupply on top of your screen.

Team work makes the dream workRemember to make sure someone handles the defenses as XenoThreat will attack in waves around the wrecks. Communication is critical to effectively organize the loading of cargo while keeping the attackers at bay.

Once the Javelin is rearmed, it'll go for one last push against XenoThreat. The enemy will join the fight with full force, bringing several Idris frigates, Hammerheads, and fighters. Before taking out the big guns, we recommend first taking out the support crafts.

XenoThreat Community ScreenshotsThis will be the third time that XenoThreat try to invade the Stanton system.

Was andere Piloten über vergangene XenoThreat-Events sagen
"XenoThreat macht so viel Spaß!

The current deterioration state is displayed on the container display.

Zeta-Prolanide degrades over time until breaking down completely (Time Sensitive).

AcryliPlex Composite"Careful with that one.
