Greetings Citizens,
The Star Citizen team is currently hard at work building the upcoming hangar module, which will allow players to walk around their ships! Over time, the hangar module will expand to add more functionality (like ship upgrades.) Today we thought it would be fun to show off some of the artwork that has gone into building the module. It may not be as sexy as spaceships battling or marine body armor… but we think it’s very interesting!
You’ve seen the hangar itself in recent videos (pictured here with an Aurora.) Now check out some of the detail work that went into creating the environment: modeling individual fans, designing ladders and concepting out computer interfaces, catwalks and bulkhead walls!

Das Star Citizen-Team arbeitet derzeit intensiv am Bau des kommenden Hangarmoduls, das es den Spielern ermöglichen wird, um ihre Schiffe herumzulaufen! Im Laufe der Zeit wird das Hangarmodul erweitert, um weitere Funktionen hinzuzufügen (z.B. Schiffsupgrades.) Heute dachten wir, es wäre lustig, einige der Kunstwerke zu zeigen, die in den Bau des Moduls eingeflossen sind. Es mag nicht so sexy sein wie Raumschiffe, die kämpfen oder Marine Body Armor.... aber wir finden es sehr interessant!
Sie haben den Hangar selbst in aktuellen Videos gesehen (hier mit einer Aurora.) Schauen Sie sich nun einige der Detailarbeiten an, die zur Schaffung der Umgebung beigetragen haben: Modellierung einzelner Ventilatoren, Design von Leitern und Konzeption von Computerschnittstellen, Laufstegen und Schottwänden!
