Es tut mir leid, dass ich Sie in die Schusslinie gebracht habe, Sir. Das war nicht meine Absicht.

Der Vorfall auf Lo war eine unglückliche Wendung der Ereignisse. Der Versuch, lokale kriminelle Elemente für Informationen zu kontaktieren, fiel mit einem wachsenden Rasenkrieg zusammen. Es war Pech, dass ein Treffer eintrat, während wir mitten in einem Meeting waren.

Was das Gesamtbild betrifft, so habe ich folgendes.

Abgesehen davon, dass ich Trash-Contraband zu Trash People, meinem CI, FourBit, Mondschein als revolutionärer Aktivist, Verschwörungstheoretiker, etc. transferiere. Obwohl er findet, dass er mit dem Imperium kooperiert, versucht er, Widerwärtigkeiten abzubauen, Geschäfte mit mir zu machen, bedeutet für ihn ein besseres Geschäft, also gewinnt Credits über die Ideologie.

Er hat an Meetings von gleichgesinnten "Revolutionären" teilgenommen, für eine monatliche packende Sitzung. Einer der neueren Redner, ein Mann namens Clemen Acord, hat die letzten paar Treffen damit verbracht, für Systemunabhängigkeit zu predigen, und mit jeder Rede plädiert er für eine aggressivere Agenda, um das Bewusstsein für ihre Sache zu schärfen.

FourBit glaubt, dass Acord und die kleine Fraktion der Anhänger, die er aufbaut, etwas planen. Als überzeugter Pazifist sagte er, dass er diese Splittergruppe infiltrieren würde, um mehr darüber zu erfahren und mich auf dem Laufenden zu halten. Das war vor über vier Wochen und nichts.

Heute früh fand ich FourBit in einem Frachtcontainer in einer verlassenen Werft gestopft, was darauf hindeutet, dass er aus nächster Nähe hingerichtet wurde. Ich habe veranlasst, dass die Leiche in lokalen Einrichtungen untersucht wird und werde sie aktualisieren, wenn ich mehr darüber erfahre.

Unnötig zu sagen, dass ich alles in meiner Macht Stehende tue, um Acord und bekannte KAs aufzuspüren.

Ich habe ein vollständiges Profil auf Acord zusammengestellt: ein paar Verhaftungen bei einer Vielzahl von Demonstrationen und Protesten, typischerweise gewaltfreie Sachen. Agenten haben F&F angezapft, sie sagen, dass er in den letzten Jahren zunehmend getrennt und paranoid geworden ist.

Wird alles andere, was auftaucht, weiterleiten, aber du tust dasselbe.

I’m sorry for putting you in the line of fire, sir. That was not my intention.

The incident on Lo was an unfortunate turn of events. Attempts to contact local criminal elements for intel coincided with a growing turf war. It was bad luck that a hit went down while we were in the middle of a meet.

As for the bigger picture, here’s what I’ve got.

Aside from moving trash contraband to trash people, my CI, FourBit, moonlights as a revolutionary activist, conspiracy theorist, etc. Though he finds cooperating with the Empire he’s trying to uproot distasteful, doing business with me means better business for him, so Credits win out over ideology.

He’s been attending meetings of like-minded ‘revolutionaries’ for a monthly griping session. One of the newer speakers, a man named Clemen Acord, has spent the past few meetings preaching for system independence, with each speech he advocates a more aggressive agenda to raise awareness for their cause.

FourBit believes that Acord and the small faction of followers he’s accruing are planning something. Being a staunch pacifist, he said he was going to infiltrate this splinter group to find out more and would update me. That was over four weeks ago and nothing.

Earlier today, I found FourBit stuffed in a cargo container in an abandoned shipyard, stippling indicated he was executed at close range. I’ve arranged for the body to be examined at local facilities and will update as I learn more.

Needless to say, I’m doing all I can to track down Acord and known KAs.

I will prepare a deposition if it will help you.

I’ve put together a full profile on Acord: a few arrests in a variety of demonstrations and protests, typically non-violent stuff. Agents have tapped F&F; they say he’s become increasingly disconnected and paranoid over the past few years.
