ZWEI MILLIONEN GRÜNDE, SICH ZU BEDANKEN
Bereits im Oktober 2015 erreichten wir einen erstaunlichen Meilenstein, als unsere Gemeinschaft auf eine Million Bürger anstieg. Zu sagen, dass ich stolz und demütig war, bleibt eine Untertreibung, und diese Gefühle haben sich nur verdoppelt, als ich unseren zweimillionsten Bürger in den Vers begrüße.

So wie Star Citizen im Laufe der Jahre weiter gewachsen ist, so ist auch die Gemeinschaft auf ebenso erstaunliche und ermutigende Weise gewachsen. Die Geldgeber bleiben die Grundlage dieses Projekts und ein Leuchtturm für die gesamte Gaming-Branche und darüber hinaus. Sie beweisen, dass PC-Spiele, Weltraumsimulationen und die Bereitschaft, diese Kunstformen in neue Innovationsfelder zu treiben, lebendig und gut sind, mit aufregenderen Möglichkeiten als je zuvor. Mit zwei Millionen Menschen (und mehr), die uns inspirieren und auf uns zählen, ist das Star Citizen-Team bei unseren Bemühungen verzinkter denn je. Wir hören uns an, was Sie von Star Citizen erwarten, und arbeiten daran, erstaunlichere Inhalte und Mechaniken in das Spiel zu bringen, während wir gleichzeitig Ressourcen und Fokus auf die Verbesserung der Lebensqualität setzen und aktuelle Features aufpolieren, um es zu einem befriedigenden Erlebnis zu machen, selbst während wir noch in Alpha sind. Es ist Ihr Glaube an das Projekt, von den ersten Geldgebern bis hin zu den relativ Neuen im Vers, die alles möglich machen.

Um dies zu feiern, veröffentlichen wir spezielle Badges, um Ihrem Engagement zu gedenken. Das 1M Abzeichen für diejenigen von euch, die Teil der ersten Million Bürger waren, und das 2M für jene mutigen Abenteurer, die sich uns seit, bis hin zu unserem zweimillionsten Bürger angeschlossen haben. Als Bonus erhältst du, wenn es in der Strophe verfügbar ist, auch ein In-Game-T-Shirt mit einem ähnlichen Logo, damit dein Charakter eine stilvolle Erinnerung daran hat, dass er eine wichtige Rolle bei der Gestaltung seines Universums gespielt hat.

Während wir auf Alpha 3.2 und darüber hinaus schauen, danken das Team und ich jedem einzelnen von euch von ganzem Herzen. Als wir mit diesem Abenteuer begannen, konnten wir uns die Leidenschaft, Ausdauer und Hingabe, die so viele Menschen gehabt hätten, nicht vorstellen. Dank dieser Hingabe - Ihrer Hingabe - können wir weiterhin die beste Damn Space Sim aller Zeiten entwickeln, bauen und liefern.

TWO MILLION REASONS TO SAY THANKS
Back in October of 2015, we reached an amazing milestone when our Community grew to one million Citizens. To say I was proud and humbled then remains an understatement, and those feelings have only doubled as I welcome our two millionth Citizen into the ‘verse.

As Star Citizen has continued to grow over the years, so has the community in just as many astonishing and encouraging ways. The backers remain the foundation of this project and a beacon to the entire gaming industry and beyond. You are proving that PC games, space sims, and a willingness to push these artforms into new realms of innovation are alive and well, with more exciting possibilities than ever before. With two million people (and counting) inspiring and counting on us, the Star Citizen team is more galvanized than ever in our efforts. We’re listening to what you want out of Star Citizen and working to get more amazing content and mechanics into the game, while also pouring resources and focus into quality of life improvements and polishing current features, to make it a satisfying experience, even while still in Alpha. It’s your belief in the project, from the earliest backers to those relatively new to the ‘verse, that make it all possible.

To celebrate this, we’re releasing special badges to commemorate your dedication and engagement. The 1M badge for those of you that were part of the first million citizens, and the 2M for those brave adventurers that have joined us since, up to and including our two millionth Citizen. As a bonus, when available in the ‘verse, you’ll also be receiving an in-game T-shirt with a similar logo, so your character can sport a stylish reminder that they’ve played an integral role in the shaping of their universe.

As we look ahead to Alpha 3.2 and beyond, the team and I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts. When we started on this adventure, we couldn’t have imagined the passion, perseverance, and dedication that so many would have. It’s because of that dedication – your dedication – that we can continue to design, build, and deliver the Best Damn Space Sim Ever.
