Avast there, everyone!
Last week, sailors and scalliwags from every corner of the globe crowned a new Mistress of the proverbial Seas in the Ship Showdown 2952 Finals, and no matter if you are a true pirate or a scurvy swab, you all should tip your tricorns and headscarves to this year's champion, the mighty Anvil Carrack.
The Crusader Mercury Star Runner, the RSI Scorpius, and the Anvil Pisces also scrapped their way into the Final Four and will be rewarded with glittering treasure later this year.
Ship Showdown also offers free loot to anyone who adds a new salty freebooter to their crew, but beware, the Ship Showdown Referral Bonus ends tomorrow, and with it, your chance to grab a free Hoverquad for you and anyone you refer.
As the last cabin boy probably noticed, today is Talk like a Pirate Day, so you should check out the bounty of treasures we dug up for Pirate Week before somebody gets keelhauled. This year we've got our biggest barnacle-encrusted, swashbuckling celebration to date.
Our latest Dynamic Events are shaking up the seas as we celebrate the return of Pirate Swarm to Arena Commander, and we have a bevy of epic ship paints that'll allow you to hoist your colors; this year's event leaves no sailor behind.
But pull up your anchor and hurry out of port, because by Thursday, the booty all goes out with the tide.

Siege of Orison & Nine Tails Lockdown will both run until mid-week to keep an eye on your mobiGlas for incoming CDF requests or check out the event schedule.
This Tuesday, the Narrative team will publish a B0oty Call dispatch attempting to expose some of the more ridiculous piratical traditions of the 'verse.
Thursday, we'll meet the Localization Team and have a Siege of Orison Review in this week's episode of Inside Star Citizen.
On Friday, you'll see updates to the Subscriber Vault, and the weekly RSI Newsletter will be delivered to your inbox. We'll also welcome a new Star Citizen Live episode, which will broadcast on our Star Citizen Twitch channel. This week we'll have a Q&A with members of the AI Teams.
UPDATE: Due to a scheduling conflict, we're postponing the AI episode of SCL. In its place this week, we're bringing Damien Devaux, Lead Character Artist from Turbulent, onto the show for a 1-on-1 interview at 8am Pacific / 3pm UTC. Jared and Damien will discuss the who/what/when/where/why of coming over to CIG and their efforts to build a new Character Team exclusive to Star Citizen that can deliver like never before. Fans of our Meet the Devs segments of old, this will feel familiar to you!

Letzte Woche haben Matrosen und Scalliwags aus allen Ecken der Welt im Finale des Ship Showdown 2952 eine neue Herrin der sprichwörtlichen Meere gekrönt. Und egal, ob du ein echter Pirat oder ein fieser Schwabbel bist, ihr alle solltet eure Dreispitze und euer Kopftuch auf den diesjährigen Champion, die mächtige Anvil Carrack, richten.
Die Crusader Mercury Star Runner, die RSI Scorpius und die Anvil Pisces haben sich ebenfalls bis ins Final Four vorgekämpft und werden später in diesem Jahr mit glitzernden Schätzen belohnt.
Ship Showdown bietet außerdem kostenlose Beute für jeden, der einen neuen Freibeuter in seine Crew aufnimmt. Aber Vorsicht, der Ship Showdown Empfehlungsbonus endet morgen und damit auch deine Chance auf ein kostenloses Hoverquad für dich und jeden, den du empfiehlst.
