Happy Monday, everyone!
First, we'd like to give you all an update on Star Citizen Alpha 3.18. This upcoming milestone marks a giant technical leap forward on Star Citizen's journey to deliver real universal persistence, and we couldn't have done it without all of you. Thank you! The biggest task for us right now is getting everything running smoothly enough to release to the live servers. While we're close, we've determined this will require a bit more time. Our current target is to open Alpha 3.18 on the PTU to ALL testers this week, so ALL of you can dive in and check out the new content and technology over the holiday break. We'll then come back strong after the holidays and work to release to the Live servers in January.
As a reminder, if you're looking to check out what lesser-known features (not listed on the Roadmap) are coming to the 'verse with Alpha 3.18, be sure to check out the first, second, and third Patch Watch posts.
On the more festive side of things, there are only three days left until Luminalia on December 22, which means we've still got some more in-game goodies for you to claim on this year's calendar (for FREE!). Make sure to head over to our dedicated Luminalia page to claim yours. You'll also find details about this year's discounted starter packages and referral bonus!
And since this will be the last This Week In Star Citizen (TWISC) of the year, we're looking ahead to the many significant community-driven events coming in 2023, including the Daymar Rally, Crux Cup 2953, and Con42. We can't wait to kick 2953 off in style with all of you. We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for all of your support - this universe would not be possible without each and every one of you!

Wednesday has the latest update for the Public Roadmap alongside a Roadmap Roundup. This will be the last update for the year, with updates in the new year.
ISC and SCL are officially on holiday hiatus as well - but fear not, we'll also be back in the new year with the usual in-depth content you love!
On Friday, you'll receive our weekly RSI Newsletter delivered to your inbox, and Subscribers can look forward to an update to the Subscriber Vault and the December issue of Jump Point magazine.

Einen schönen Montag euch allen!
Zuerst möchten wir euch ein Update zur Star Citizen Alpha 3.18 geben. Dieser bevorstehende Meilenstein markiert einen riesigen technischen Sprung auf dem Weg von Star Citizen zu echter universeller Persistenz, und ohne euch alle hätten wir das nicht geschafft. Vielen Dank an euch! Die größte Aufgabe für uns ist es jetzt, alles so reibungslos zum Laufen zu bringen, dass wir es auf die Live-Server übertragen können. Wir sind zwar kurz davor, aber wir haben festgestellt, dass dies noch etwas mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen wird. Unser derzeitiges Ziel ist es, die Alpha 3.18 auf der PTU noch diese Woche für ALLE Tester zu öffnen, damit ihr euch über die Feiertage mit den neuen Inhalten und Technologien vertraut machen könnt. Nach den Feiertagen kehren wir dann mit voller Kraft zurück und arbeiten an der Veröffentlichung auf den Live-Servern im Januar.
Zur Erinnerung: Wenn ihr wissen wollt, welche weniger bekannten Features (die nicht auf der Roadmap stehen) mit der Alpha 3.18 ins Spiel kommen, schaut euch den ersten, zweiten und dritten Patch Watch Post an.
Es sind nur noch drei Tage bis zum Luminalia-Fest am 22. Dezember, was bedeutet, dass wir noch ein paar Goodies für dich im Spiel haben, die du dir im Kalender sichern kannst (GRATIS!). Schau auf unserer speziellen Luminalia-Seite vorbei, um dir deinen Kalender zu sichern. Dort findest du auch Informationen zu den vergünstigten Starterpaketen und dem Empfehlungsbonus für dieses Jahr!
