This year's CitizenCon in Manchester is shaping up to be our biggest yet, and we want to make sure you're fully prepared! Below you'll find a list of commonly asked questions surrounding the event, venue, tickets, and more.
► Where is the event taking place?

► When/Where is early registration?
Attendees can register and collect their swag bags and event passes at the Charter Foyer Entrance (the main registration area) at Manchester Central Convention Complex on Friday, October 18, between 5 PM and 8 PM UK time.

You can find the full schedule on the CitizenCon official page.
► Are there any ticket available to join the CitizenCon 2954 in Manchester?
Unfortunately, tickets are no longer available, and we're excited to have thousands of attendees joining us this year, making it our biggest event yet. However, you won't miss out if you couldn't grab a ticket! You can follow all the action live through our live streams on Twitch and YouTube. Plus, the Digital Goodies Pack is still available, offering all the digital content included with a CitizenCon ticket.
► Will there be a Digital Goodies Pack this year?
Yes, and it’s included with each CitizenCon ticket. If you aren’t joining us in person, you can pick up a Digital Goodies Pack separately.

Once tickets have been distributed, you can forward them via email or print them out.

There are a string of community-organized events, which you will NOT want to miss!

► I can’t make it to Manchester, will the event be live-streamed?
Yes. It’s 100% free to watch the live stream – we will be broadcasting live on Twitch and YouTube.
► Am I allowed to re-broadcast CitizenCon on my own channel?
Yes! Have fun sharing the event with your communities!
► What ticket options will be available and when do they go on sale?
Tickets will be available in two tiers, both in limited quantities. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
CitizenCon 2954 Access Ticket:
Your ticket to both days of CitizenCon also gets you exclusive swag, both physical and digital.
CitizenCon 2954 Premium Experience Ticket:
Elevate your experience with this extremely limited upgrade. Add VIP perks to your ticket including a dedicated private lounge, priority access lanes, extra physical and digital swag, discounted merchandise, and more.
► Will there be a physical swag bag for attendees of the event?
Yes, and it will be included with your CitizenCon ticket. More information on this to come at a later date.
► Can I buy multiple tickets for my friends/family?
Yes! You can buy up to 5 tickets per cart for the general access ticket, and share those tickets with friends once we deliver them, closer to the event.
Due to the limited quantity, Premium Experience tickets are unique, and only 1 per account can be purchased. They are non-giftable/transferrable.
► How and when will tickets be delivered?
Tickets will be emailed to your registered account email closer to the event.
► How will I give the tickets I purchased to my friends/family?
Once tickets have been distributed closer to the event, you'll simply be able to forward them their ticket via email, or print and hand-deliver them.
► If tickets come with Digital Goodies Packs, how will I distribute those to friends/family?
Digital Goodies Packs will be giftable once they are delivered, closer to the event.
► If I am not attending CitizenCon, am I still able to get a Digital Goodies Pack?
Yes! The Digital Goodies Pack is available on the pledge store separately for those unable to attend. The Premium Experience Digital Goodies Pack will not be available to those without a Premium Experience Ticket.
► What should I bring?
Please remember to bring your printed ticket (or a digital copy stored on your mobile device) and your photo ID.
► Can I come in Cosplay?
Heck yeah! Cosplay is encouraged. In the best interest of security, we will prohibit prop weapons though, so please leave those at home.
► Is there an age restriction for attending?
Yes, for CitizenCon (October 19-20), all attendees must be 18 or over.
► Can non-backers acquire a ticket to the event?
Yes.
► Will CitizenCon tickets be available for store credit? Can I use a coupon to discount the purchase price of a ticket?
No, CitizenCon tickets are not purchasable via store credit and cannot be discounted with a coupon.
► Will food be available?
We will have a selection of food and drink vendors throughout the venue.
► Am I able to bring my own food or drink? What about a personal water bottle?
Yes, you are allowed to bring outside food/drinks and personal water bottles. No outside alcohol allowed.
► Will there be any new merchandise available at CitizenCon?
Yes, we'll debut new merchandise at CitizenCon which will be revealed at the event.
► Is there somewhere to leave my bag and coat?
Yes, all attendees will be encouraged to store their belongings in the visitor’s coat check. That said, we strongly discourage attendees from bringing large bags.
► Is there a Lost and Found?
Yes. Manchester Central keeps lost property for two months. After this time it is given to charity. If you have lost something at Manchester Central, email our concierge team or call 0161 834 2700.
► Will seating be available?
Yes, there will be seating. There will be no assigned seats, and location of seating will be first come first serve.
► Will there be security at the event?
Yes.
► What are the rules concerning in-house photography/recording?
In general, photography and recording are encouraged. However, there may be some areas and aspects of the event that are off-limits in that regard throughout the day. Clear indication of areas where photography is not permitted will be found on-site.
► Is the event wheelchair accessible?

► Will there be a separate line for ADA registration?
Absolutely! Rest assured, there will indeed be a separate line designated specifically for ADA registration, so feel free to approach the staff line with confidence, knowing that we're here to assist you every step of the way!
► If I can no longer attend, can I cancel and get a refund?
No, tickets are non-refundable. Once purchased, they cannot be refunded or exchanged for another event. We recommend ensuring your availability before purchasing tickets. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team for assistance.

Ja, für die CitizenCon (19.-20. Oktober) müssen alle Teilnehmer/innen mindestens 13 Jahre alt sein. Minderjährige müssen von einem Erwachsenen begleitet werden. Für die CitizenCon-Gala (18. Oktober) müssen die Teilnehmer/innen 18 Jahre oder älter sein.
► Können auch Nicht-Unterstützer ein Ticket für die Veranstaltung erwerben?
Ja.
►Werden CitizenCon-Tickets als Gutschrift im Laden erhältlich sein? Kann ich einen Coupon verwenden, um den Kaufpreis eines Tickets zu reduzieren?
Nein, CitizenCon-Tickets können nicht mit einer Ladengutschrift erworben werden und können nicht mit einem Gutschein ermäßigt werden.
Wird es Essen geben?
Wir haben eine Auswahl an Essens- und Getränkeverkäufern am Veranstaltungsort.
Darf ich mein eigenes Essen oder Getränk mitbringen? Was ist mit einer persönlichen Wasserflasche?
Ja, du darfst Essen/Getränke und eigene Wasserflaschen mitbringen. Alkohol darf nicht mitgebracht werden.
Wird es auf der CitizenCon neue Artikel geben?
Ja, wir werden auf der CitizenCon neue Merchandise-Artikel vorstellen, die auf der Veranstaltung enthüllt werden.
Kann ich meine Tasche und meinen Mantel irgendwo abstellen?
Ja, alle Teilnehmer werden gebeten, ihre Sachen an der Garderobe der Besucher zu deponieren. Wir raten jedoch dringend davon ab, große Taschen mitzubringen.
► Gibt es ein Fundbüro?
Ja. Manchester Central bewahrt Fundsachen für zwei Monate auf. Nach dieser Zeit werden sie für wohltätige Zwecke abgegeben. Wenn du etwas im Manchester Central verloren hast, schreibe unserem Concierge-Team eine E-Mail oder rufe 0161 834 2700 an.
Werden Sitzplätze vorhanden sein?
Ja, es wird Sitzplätze geben. Es gibt keine zugewiesenen Sitzplätze und die Plätze werden in der Reihenfolge des Eingangs vergeben.
Wird es bei der Veranstaltung einen Sicherheitsdienst geben?
Ja.
►Was sind die Regeln für das Fotografieren und Aufnehmen im Haus?
Generell ist das Fotografieren und Aufnehmen erwünscht. Es kann jedoch einige Bereiche und Aspekte der Veranstaltung geben, die in dieser Hinsicht während des Tages tabu sind. Die Bereiche, in denen das Fotografieren nicht erlaubt ist, sind vor Ort deutlich gekennzeichnet.
Ist die Veranstaltung für Rollstuhlfahrer zugänglich?

Wird es eine separate Schlange für die ADA-Anmeldung geben?
Auf jeden Fall! Du kannst dir sicher sein, dass es tatsächlich eine separate Schlange für die ADA-Anmeldung geben wird. Du kannst dich also getrost an die Mitarbeiter/innen wenden, denn wir sind hier, um dir bei jedem Schritt zu helfen!
► Kann ich stornieren und eine Rückerstattung erhalten, wenn ich nicht teilnehmen kann?
Nein, Tickets sind nicht erstattungsfähig. Einmal gekaufte Tickets können nicht zurückerstattet oder gegen eine andere Veranstaltung umgetauscht werden. Ja, für die CitizenCon (19.-20. Oktober) müssen alle Teilnehmer/innen mindestens 13 Jahre alt sein. Minderjährige müssen von einem Erwachsenen begleitet werden. Für die CitizenCon-Gala (18. Oktober) müssen die Teilnehmer/innen 18 Jahre oder älter sein.
► Können auch Nicht-Unterstützer ein Ticket für die Veranstaltung erwerben?
Ja.
►Werden CitizenCon-Tickets als Gutschrift im Laden erhältlich sein? Kann ich einen Coupon verwenden, um den Kaufpreis eines Tickets zu reduzieren?
Nein, CitizenCon-Tickets können nicht mit einer Ladengutschrift erworben werden und können nicht mit einem Gutschein ermäßigt werden.
Wird es Essen geben?
Wir haben eine Auswahl an Essens- und Getränkeverkäufern am Veranstaltungsort.

Werden Sitzplätze vorhanden sein?

► Can I buy multiple tickets for my friends/family?
Yes! You can buy up to 5 tickets per cart for the general access ticket, and share those tickets with friends once we deliver them, closer to the event.
Due to the limited quantity, Premium Experience tickets are unique, and only 1 per account can be purchased. They are non-giftable/transferrable.
► How and when will tickets be delivered?
Tickets will be emailed to your registered account email closer to the event.
► How will I give the tickets I purchased to my friends/family?
