Humanity’s hostile relationship with the Vanduul began almost 300 years ago after the alien species unexpectedly raided a civilian outpost in the Orion system. This first contact cost countless Human lives, as has every encounter since.The Vanduul home world is unknown, their command structure is obscure, and with so little intel available to anticipate their agenda, all diplomatic efforts to improve Human-Vanduul relations have failed.
