This Week in Star Citizen
Hello everyone, xē'suelen nyahyan
Red Festival celebrations are still going across the 'verse, but just barely. Things wrap up tomorrow, March 3, so if you haven't jumped in yet, now's the time. There are still free prizes to claim and the "Earned Fortune" contest to take part in before it all winds down.

Last week we published a Roadmap Update with two notable additions to the release view: Crafting T0 and the Inventory Rework. Both represent meaningful steps forward for player interaction and long-term progression, as we move closer to their debut in the Live environment.

We welcomed the Ship Audio Team for a community Q&A. If you missed it, enjoy this new episode of Star Citizen Live on YouTube. The team answered your questions, talked through improvements that are already in and others on the way, and settled the matter of who makes the most mouth noises in the office.

Subscribers also received the February 2026 issue of Jump Point. The first issue of the year explores how Nyx’s rest stops are shaping up, goes behind the scenes of the Argo MOTH and RSI Hermes, and more. You can download your copy now from the Subscriber section of your account.

Nosde_BlackNow, let’s take a look at what’s coming up this week:
On Tuesday, we'll publish the Subscriber Monthly Newsletter and Subscriber Comm-Link.

Wednesday brings a new Monthly Report, offering a detailed update from our teams as work continues on upcoming releases and long-term initiatives from February 2026. It’s your chance to see how development is progressing across disciplines and what’s taking shape behind the scenes.

Then on Thursday, Star Citizen Live returns with a Tech Talk featuring Sean Tracy, Managing Director of Technical Operations. Join us on Twitch at 16:00 UTC as we get into Star Citizen's technology, including the Engine and Editor, Tools and Pipeline, Character Tech, and VR. Submit your questions now on Spectrum.

This week, we’re aiming to release a first Tech Preview of the Transport System to the Evocati. This system enables easier design setup and integration into instanced content such as hangars, while also providing more robust functionality within server-meshed environments. The goal is also to release Tech Preview 4.7 to the Evocati this week, with Wave 1 planned shortly after.

Alpha 4.6 isn’t being left behind. We’ve recently rolled out new hotfixes, including granting any outstanding Clearing the Air rewards to players who reached their milestones during the event but hadn’t received them yet. More fixes are coming this week, including addressing NPCs getting stuck in a cowering stance.

This Friday, the latest RSI Weekly Newsletter lands in your inbox. If you’re not subscribed yet, you can enable it at any time through your account settings.

Last but not least, Order 66 is hosting a new RP PvP event this Saturday, March 7, 19:00 UTC: Dead Man’s Switch. The goal is to capture the Wikelo Idris, board it, and trigger the self-destruct; Whoever sets it off takes the prize. Jump into their Discord server and take part in this all-out battle this weekend!

a.thl'ē'kol, see you soon.
