This Week in Star Citizen Nini_StarDust_EverBloom Happy Monday, everyone!
Last week, the spooky season arrived with Day of the Vara, bringing the pumpkin decorating contest, the Arena Commander Festival Kill Collector FPS mode, and other fearsome finds for those brave enough to take part. We also released the latest Roadmap Update and Roundup, giving you a look at what’s ahead.
And for a closer look at the technology behind the work, the second episode of 10 From the Community is here, putting our Technical Directors in the spotlight to answer your questions about NPC behavior, social features, UI, ground vehicles, bug fixes, and more. We’re also gathering questions for a future FPS gameplay episode, so head to the Spectrum thread to submit yours and vote for the ones you’d most like to see answered.
Meanwhile, Alpha 4.10.3 landed on the PTU for Wave 1 testing, introducing a new Vanduul Incursion mission line to the Nyx System, a new energy rifle, along with a range of other additions and fixes. Thank you to everyone who’s jumped in to test, and for everyone still waiting, more waves will open up soon.
Now, let's see what's going on this week:
Later this week, we plan to release a Behind the Scenes video of the Squadron 42 October Event, giving you a peek behind the curtain at how things went.
This Friday, watch your inbox for the latest RSI Weekly Newsletter. Subscribers can also look forward to the October issue of Jump Point magazine.
And if racing is more your speed, the filthiest race in the ‘verse, the Daymar Rally, returns on January 23, 2027! Sign-ups are now open. Over 510 KM of unforgiving terrain awaits across three divisions. Gather your crew and see if you’ve got what it takes to conquer one legendary race across Daymar.
Cheers,
