Soon after the planet was [terraformed](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V3qgj8vjnj-terraforming) to [Human](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) specifications, the Navy constructed boot camps (known locally as Forges), officer training programs, flight academies, medical centers, and other facilities there.
