NEW FRONTIERS Full Patch Notes Read them here Welcome to Star Citizen Alpha 3.8 Release Date: December 21st, 2019 This is New Babbage flight control issuing an official harsh weather warning for all incoming air traffic - conditions are bad and getting worse. Landings are ill-advised at this time.


We know it sounds dramatic and yes, we deal with this sort of thing all the time, certainly. But believe us when we tell you this storm isn't to be taken lightly. Stay vigilant and keep checking back throughout the coming months for updates. We expect to release additional information and resources as they become available.


Though the landing zone is temporarily closed, there’s plenty to discover across microTech for those willing to brave the elements. Fly safe friend. And be careful; it’s brutal out there.

Speaking of Stanton, the system’s final explorable planet is here - the icy world of microTech. The home and HQ of the eponymous mega-corporation (makers of the mobiGlass among countless other things) was rendered mostly frozen by a terraforming accident and is now battered by brutal weather and unrelenting storms. Travelers should be warned that while New Babbage is certainly worth exploring, the weather outside is decidedly frightful most times of the year.
