Dynamic Event Weekend
What is Jumptown?
Inspired by historic, player-driven events back in 2019, Jumptown 2.0 is the official re-imagining of those epic credit-fueled clashes. This Dynamic Event challenges players of all types to get in, get out, or even take over a lucrative drug lab uncovered in the Stanton system. Choose a side, gear up, and get ready for mayhem.
To take the lawful path, be sure you have a CrimeStat of zero and then accept the mission from Crusader Security. The drug boxes you collect at the mission site will need to be taken to the closest LEO port. For example, if the mission is taking place at Jumptown, you would take your haul to Port Olisar.
On the lawful path, if you successfully delivery at least one run of contraband back to the LEO port, you will receive an aUEC bonus on top of the price of the drugs you deliver.
To take the unlawful path, you must have a CrimeStat of any level and accept the mission from Ruto. To do this you will need to have a non-negative affinity with the mission giver. Ruto knows how valuable this intel is, so he also asks a buy-in for the mission.
On this path, all contraband must be taken to Grim HEX to be sold off, regardless of where the mission is taking place. The unlawful path will provide a bonus to the price of each successfully delivered drug box.
What is Nine Tails Lockdown?
Nine Tails Lockdown is another recent Dynamic Event that's landed in Stanton. The Nine Tails gang has locked down a Lagrange point in Crusader space, preventing quantum travel in and out, and it's up to you to help local security end the blockade. Grab the mission in the Priority section of your mission manager in the mobiGlas when the mission is active and jump into the fray. Whether aiding Crusader Security in combat against Nine Tails or helping deliver much-needed medical supplies to the area, the rest stop station needs your help!
Or, for those of you with CrimeStats, perhaps Nine Tails could use some assistance keeping the blockade running...
How do I get started?
Accept the Mission
Fly to the Lab
Grab the Contraband
Accept the Mission
Open the Mission Manager in your mobiGlas and navigate to the Priority category, either under the General tab for the lawful path or Personal for unlawful. This will give you both the coordinates of the drug lab and where to sell the packages.
Fly to the Lab
The drug lab will be marked on your HUD and the Starmap. It may be in Crusader, microTech, or ArcCorp space. If you're on the lawful path, you'll be taking the drugs to the corresponding LEO stations (Port Olisar, Port Tressler, or Baijini Point, respectively), which will also be marked on your HUD. If on the unlawful path, you'll be traveling to Grim HEX for your payout.
Grab the Contraband
Once you arrive at the lab, your goal is to find the drug spawner inside (pictured here). This device will pump out one box of contraband every 30 seconds. This timer doesn't start until you grab the previous box, so you'll have to hold your position against anyone else looking for the same payday if you want to maximize your earnings.
How do I get started?
Accept the First Mission
Break the Blockade
Neutralize the Fleet
Accept the First Mission
An audible warning will sound to notify all players of a station in distress due to the Nine Tails gang. After several warnings, a priority mission will become available in the General tab of your mobiGlas, with a second mission to deal with the Nine Tails blockade becoming available when you arrive at the distressed station.
Break the Blockade
Fend off waves of attacks to protect lawful scanning ships that are searching for the Nine Tails fleet. Remember, though, that players can choose to join the Nine Tails, which means these PVE encounters can quickly turn into an all-out PVP brawl. Definitely bring backup and watch your back!
Neutralize the Fleet
After breaking through the Nine Tails blockade, you'll receive a follow-up mission (also a priority mission in the general tab of your mobiGlas) to neutralize the Nine Tails fleet. You will need to be in the distressed area for this mission to populate. At this stage, things get wild as the Nine Tails gang brings out their biggest guns for a battle of epic proportions.
