Happy Monday, everyone!
Invictus Launch Week 2955 has officially touched down at Bevic Convention Center on ArcCorp! This annual event honors the legacy of the UEE Navy while giving everyone the chance to experience the ships and technology that defend the Empire. Don't miss the chance to test fly the best military-inspired ships with our Free Fly event, running from now through May 27. Plus, there are activities galore for pilots from all walks of life, offering something for everyone throughout Invictus Launch Week.
This year brings a special highlight - the Aegis Idris. Not only is it available to tour at the Aegis Idris Experience, but we’re also pleased to see this iconic capital ship take its place in the hangars and skies of the ‘verse, letting owners command one of the Navy’s most formidable vessels. To help you make the most of your time at Invictus, we've prepared a detailed FAQ covering everything you need to know about the big event (including Free Fly access, ship rentals, and more), and the Manufacturer Schedule to help you plan your test flights. As always, we look forward to seeing you share your favorite moments, ship impressions, and screenshots on the Community Hub, whether this is your first event or if you're an Invictus veteran.
Last Saturday, CON42 lit up the Bar Citizen World Tour with nearly 600 attendees coming together near Frankfurt for a weekend full of Star Citizen excitement. From incredible fan-built ship models to hands-on activities and thoughtful conversations, the event was packed with energy and shared passion. A massive thanks to the amazing organizers and everyone who joined us; it was one for the books! Next up: Lyon, France on May 31. More details on upcoming events here.
And finally, the team is full steam ahead as we prepare to release Alpha 4.2.0 to our Evocati testers this week — potentially as early as tonight! We’ll keep you posted as things progress, and we can’t wait for you to experience the new content coming your way soon.
Now, let's see what's going on this week
On Monday, Behind the Ships kicks off the week with a closer look at another ship making its debut this Invictus Launch Week - the Mirai Guardian MX, a heavy-hitting variant of the Guardian built to bring more bite to the fight. We'll also be publishing the Mirai Guardian MX Q&A.
This Tuesday, our servers will be offline for approximately 4 hours starting from 13:00 UTC / 8:00 AM CDT to accommodate essential infrastructure tuning on our backend systems and the implementation of stability upgrades. During this maintenance window, all gameplay systems will be unavailable; you will not be able to access the game until maintenance is complete. We will provide updates on the RSI Status Page as the maintenance progresses. Thanks for your patience as we carry out this work. We'll have the 'verse back up and running as soon as possible!
Wednesday will have the latest Roadmap Update alongside an explanatory Roadmap Roundup.
Friday, we close out with another Behind the Ships episode, this time featuring the Anvil Asgard, which will be accompanied by a Q&A Comm-Link. You'll also find a copy of the weekly RSI Newsletter delivered straight to your inbox.
This Saturday, Race 6, the last race before the System 7 finals, touches down in the tropical chaos of "Bermuda Bay", a track ATMO esports has cooked up featuring a brutal blend of speed and precision. Watch the 'verse's best pilots thread razor-thin island gaps and blast through breakneck straights in their Aopoa Noxes live on the ATMO esports' channel from 7 pm UTC.
Fly low, and fly fast!

Frohen Montag, allerseits!
