Fan Spotlight: Flight Controls Volume 2

Von Joysticks bis hin zu Gamepads, HOTAS bis HOTAM, die Menschen benutzen verschiedene Steuerungen, um ihre Schiffe um den Vers herum zu steuern. Heute werden wir ein paar der Einfallsreichtum unserer Geldgeber hervorheben und ein paar Setups zeigen, die für uns herausragend waren. Also lasst uns anfangen!

Wir beginnen mit dem 6DOF Joystick von TravelTrouser. Die Manövrierfähigkeit und Beweglichkeit, die dieses Setup bietet, ist erstaunlich. Mit einer Hand kannst du dein Schiff in jede beliebige Richtung bewegen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, diesen fertig und in Aktion zu sehen.

Als nächstes kommt Jawatech Derezors Raumschiff. Dieses von Grund auf neu entwickelte Gerät stellt alles von der Tastatur bis zum Joystick zur Verfügung und sieht auch noch recht komfortabel aus! Es gibt sogar Ausschnitte für die HOTAS, so dass Sie sich keine Sorgen machen müssen, dass sie herumrutschen!

Apropos Raumschiff, SirDamn hat sein eigenes, das auch beeindruckt! Bedeckt mit Knöpfen, Knebeln, Lichtern und Dekorationen, ist diese Kreation der Traum eines Flug-Sim-Liebhabers! Außerdem kann er seinen Steuereingang mit einem Handgriff umschalten!

Wenn Sie über Immersion sprechen wollen, ist T.C.McQueen Ihr Mann. TC integriert einen Stuhl ohne Schwerkraft in seine Sim-Pit und kann buchstäblich horizontal fliegen! Ich kann mir nur vorstellen, wie erstaunlich es sich anfühlen muss, wenn man in diesem Ding seinen Nachbrenner trifft.

From joysticks to gamepads, HOTAS to HOTAM, people use different controls to pilot their ships around the ‘Verse. Today we’re going to highlight a few of our backers ingenuity and show off a few setups that stood out to us. So let’s get started!

We’ll start off with TravelTrouser’s 6DOF joystick. The maneuverability and movement available this setup is amazing. Using one hand you can move your ship in any direction that you want. I can’t wait to see this one completed and in action.

Next up is Jawatech Derezor’s spaceship. Made from scratch, this contraption puts everything from keyboard to joystick at your fingertips and looks quite comfortable as well! There’s even cutouts for the HOTAS so you don’t have to worry about it slipping around!

Speaking of spaceships, SirDamn has his own that impresses as well! Covered in buttons, toggles, lights, and decorations, this creation is a flight sim lover’s dream! On top of that he can switch his control input with the flip of a switch!

If you want to talk about immersion, T.C.McQueen is your man. Incorporating a zero-gravity chair into his sim pit, TC can literally go horizontal while flying! I can only imagine how amazing it must feel hitting your afterburner while in this thing.
