Greetings Citizens,
On behalf of the entire Cloud Imperium Team we wanted to thank those who were able to join us this past weekend in San Antonio for our first Star Citizen Town Hall.

It was fantastic meeting so many of our Star Citizen supporters and sharing with you some of what the Persistent Universe Team in Austin will be working on across 2015. And we hope you had as much fun as we did.

That said, I also know that many more of you were not able to join us. Our video team is hard at work compiling all the footage so we can share it with you.

In the meantime… we thought we’d start with some photos and a quick account from our Marketing Artist, and photographer, Ryan Archer: It was pretty encouraging to see Star Citizens lining up as early as 10:30am, even though we hadn’t planned to open the doors until 1 that afternoon. Several of us went out to greet and visit a little with our guests and we got meet some characters. I’m talking to you StarBunny. The Meet & Greet between the panels and the presentation I think was my favorite part. Several of our developers got to chat with our backers and Chris Roberts was there to have his picture taken with fans and to sign their Jumbo Mouse Pads, Hard Copy of Jump Points, Joysticks and Clifford_aka_Miku’s entire collection of Chris Roberts’ games.

I hope that more of you can join us at upcoming events that we have planned throughout 2015, all of us at CIG are excited to see how we can better communicate with the great community that has been helping us on this great adventure of building the “Best Damn Space Sim Ever!” Thanks for joining us and we hope to see y’all again soon.
